In Q3 2023, the top five consumer finance applications in Madagascar exhibited diverse performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varying levels of weekly downloads and active user engagement on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at their performance.

MyBOA - Mobile Banking experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 532 and peaking at 631 in mid-July. Despite a slight dip in August, the app regained momentum, closing the quarter with 620 downloads in the last week of September.

SG Connect showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 330 and reaching a high of 653 by the end of September. The app saw a consistent upward trend, particularly notable in August and September.

Finance: Expense control had a steady rise in both downloads and active users. Downloads started at 139 and peaked at 276 in early September before stabilizing around 214. Active users also grew from 323 to 628 over the quarter, indicating strong user retention.

My Baobab saw moderate growth in downloads, beginning at 130 and peaking at 204 in early September. Although there was a slight decline towards the end of the quarter, the app maintained a stable user base.

Cash Book- daily expenses maintained a consistent number of active users, starting at 748 and reaching 893 by the end of September. The app's weekly downloads showed a gradual increase, peaking at 204 in late August and maintaining around 171 in the last week of the quarter.
